name is nilu and I’m a multidisciplinary queer artist at Kolibre collective. My passions are dancing and performing. My style is very much influenced by a deep desire to break free from societal constraints and embody the primal forces of nature. In my work, I have woven archetypes and deities into the fabric of my practice; who continue to live through me to rewrite the myths. 

With movement and the necessary introspection I have learned so much about myself and my sexuality. As of the beginning of this year a desire broiled up in me to grow as an erotic dancer. So I started taking dancing lessons from Eliska (floorwork, aerial hoop & heels). 

So the performance ‘’mermaid codes’’ was sprouted into existence. 

In all my years, I have seen the growing importance of belonging and of communities where one can fully thrive. In the face of increasing polarization in the world, we are called to seek meaning and purpose. Let this be the call to explore life’s darker and deeper lessons and find liberation with the natural forces that shape us. 

That is why we also started facilitating the Red Tent in collaboration with Eliska & Alizée blue. A space where all wom(b)en gather once a moon in sacred ceremony at our Temple Kolibre
